The Church of Our Saviour seeks weekday office volunteers to help with the phones, walk-ins, and some general office tasks. We are a small, friendly, church office, with hours of 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Volunteers do not need to be of Episcopalian (or any!) faith. We are super flexible with days of availability, which is perfect for local college students, those who work part-time or retired persons who want to be of service. Our two church cats, Bill & Bishop, would love to sit in your lap and cuddle while you're here.
Volunteers in this role would enjoy working with people, have great communication skills, love snacks, have a willingness to help complete tasks, and be open to learning new things. This position is welcome to everyone and no experience is required. Ideal for those looking to build skills for their resume, we love to teach as much as you love to learn. We're located on a beautiful, quiet and serene campus in a lovely neighborhood.
Currently we are seeking volunteers on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 3pm. Please email with any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!

Description
Church of Our Saviour is a vibrant, diverse community set in a beautiful 5.5-acre campus, with many mature trees and native vegetation. The church campus is adjacent to the San Gabriel Cemetery, whose history is shared with COS. The church community is alive with a stellar music program, many active outreach ministries, and a campus life that is welcoming and inviting to all. The COS office is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm and Sundays for 8am, 10am and 4pm services.
