Eternal Life Organization International Ministries (ELOIM) is impacting the lives of Ugandans through initiatives to improve Education, Healthcare, access to justice/Community re- integration, Environment & Climate mitigation in Africa.

As a Volunteer-Program Officer , you will take on a pivotal role by assisting in planning, execution and assessment of our diverse project initiatives. This entails guaranteeing the successful implementation of programs that align with ELOIM mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper project tracking and record keeping
• Conduct grantee site visits as needed together with our programs team
• Evaluate program accomplishments; create program reports and updates with the Program Facilitators.
• Manage grant making process, including proposal submission and funding, communicate with grantees, and help facilitate grant processing
• Attend meetings as guided by management

Work experience:
Prior experience with performance monitoring and evaluation of grants, including developing performance indicators, data collection and analysis is preferred.

Competencies/Skills:

• Understanding of accountancy and financial management processes
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets (Excel), computerized systems, grants management, report writing, evaluating and tracking,
• Demonstrated reliability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team working environment
