We're seeking volunteers to help run our local STEM club for girls and gender diverse youth, ages 7 to 17.

CAGIS volunteers are a diverse and varied group. Our volunteers include STEM professionals, graduate, undergraduate, and high school students, professors, parents, teachers, and more.

Regular volunteer opportunities with the local club include:

* helping to brainstorm, organize, and plan monthly events for members
* helping with activities and supervision at monthly events
* doing STEM outreach and activities at special events
* hosting a CAGIS event in your area of expertise

Description

The Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is Canada’s largest and longest-running STEM club for girls, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming youth aged 7-16. This award-winning club, founded in 1992, supports interest in Science, Technology, Trades, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with virtual programming and local clubs that visit labs, workshops, and field sites to meet mentors and do fun, hands-on activities.
