Volunteer Victim Advocates provide victim services to victims/survivors of impaired driving who may need crisis intervention, emotional support, practical guidance, community referrals, and support groups. Services are delivered in person, by telephone, and in writing.
Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, sensitivity to the needs of victims/survivors, ethical behavior, respect for confidentiality, and reliable transportation.
Requirements: Driver’s license, background check, must be at least 21, MADD provides all required orientation and trainings.
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week; one-year commitment

At Mothers Against Drunk Driving, we’re focused on one goal: ending impaired driving for good. Since our founding, we’ve served as a lifeline for thousands of victims and survivors, and drunk driving fatalities have been cut in half - but we refuse to stop there. Together, we can end this 100% preventable crime.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving is more than just mothers. We're fathers, sisters, brothers, families, and friends. We're truly a grassroots organization, made up of people like you who care about making an impact in Washington to keep your loved ones safe.
MADD works tirelessly to support victims at no charge, advocate for stronger laws and create a future of No More Victims(r).
