The Marjorie Stewart Senior Community Center is looking for a few people to drive our Sherwood Senior Shuttle. This is a great position for someone who likes to help others, is social, enjoys visiting with people and making new friends. Weekday shifts available!
- Everyday Transport Drivers: Take people to appointments, shopping, the Sherwood senior center, and more. Basically, this shift takes people where they need to go. Shifts run from 9am to 12:30pm and 12:30pm to 4:30pm. This will occasionally require some driving outside of Sherwood.
- The shuttle driver will pick-up older adult passengers and take them to their destination. The shuttle is a 15-passenger Ford Transit van which has no CDL requirement to operate. It is equipped with a lift for helping passengers on and off the van, should they need it.
- Party Bus Drivers: Drive for monthly trips for the senior center. This position is once a month day trip outside of Sherwood. Possible locations are The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, Lincoln City, The Portland Art Museum, etc. This shift would be for the full trip, timing varies with destination.
