Celebrate Havdalah with Makom! Havdalah is an ancient Jewish tradition that welcomes a positive new week after a Saturday of rest, known as Shabbat. We are looking for young professional volunteers to host craft workshop tables and help guests make ceremonial Havdalah spice bags, candles, and wine cups. Space is limited to 6 volunteers. Register now or contact Faith at fjanecke@makomlife.org!
The Future Leaders Network
The Future Leaders Network (FLN) is a Makom program that brings together likeminded young professionals who believe that the world is a better when each person is empowered to meaningfully contribute. FLN members lead by example and foster strong relationships within the community that elevate the standing of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a future leader you'll find opportunities for networking, volunteerism and advocacy to spur positive change. Join FLN and be a part of an inspiring group determined to improve the quality of life for people with IDD! For more information contact Faith Janecke at fjanecke@makomlife.org.
