Want to help improve your local library branch for teens and the community? Want to earn volunteer credit in the process? Join Biblioteca Latinoamericana’s Teens Reach group! Teens Reach is a great way to gain volunteer hours and enact change within your community! Beginning January 15, 2025, we’ll host monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 4:30pm. There will be socializing, crafts, snacks, and other fun! Bring a friend and learn more about what to expect with volunteering this year. What is Teens Reach? Teens Reach is the youth council for the San José Public Library, allowing young adults to build their leadership skills by developing and participating in library activities, as well as becoming library advisors and advocates. What happens at Teens Reach meetings? Our in-person meeting plans include:

  • Chatting about teen volunteer opportunities
  • Discussing community youth engagement
  • Games & Activities/crafts
  • Snack eating
