Yolo Reads- tutoring

Join our Yolo County Library Literacy Services team as an ESL Volunteer and make a meaningful contribution to our English as a Second Language (ESL) program. ESL volunteers will work with people who are committed to learning and improving! Volunteers will learn new skills, make a difference, and have fun.

We currently have adult ESL Learners waiting for a volunteer ESL tutor.

Opportunities available in Esparto, Davis, Knights Landing, Winters, and West Sacramento

Training, support, and materials are provided by Yolo County Library Literacy Services staff.

*MUST BE A RESIDENT OF YOLO COUNTY OR IMMEDIATE SURROUNDING COUNTIES (SACRAMENTO, SOLANO, etc.)

*BILINGUAL IS PREFERRED

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
