Assist Blood Donors at Blood Drives as an American Red Cross Donor Ambassador

Your help is needed at blood drives! From start to finish, Donor Ambassadors provide a friendly face for blood donors, whether they’re greeting and registering donors at check-in or thanking them for rolling up their sleeves and donating lifesaving blood at the refreshments table.

Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be 16+ years old.
  • Must be willing and able to complete training shift and two or more blood drive shifts a month for at least three months.
  • Must be an excellent communicator with a service mindset.
  • Must be flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the blood drive throughout the day.
Getting Started:
  • All prospective volunteers must complete a Red Cross Volunteer application.
