Join the Institute for Regional Conservation for an exciting day removing nonnative plants from Atlantic Dunes Park. IRC is looking forward to another wonderful volunteer day at ADP, where we intend to plant species in cleared areas to benefit the diversity of the park and to haul away nonnative plant species that have been overtaking areas of the maritime hammock.
So join us for 3 hours on a Saturday morning and feel good that you'll be helping us restore our local maritime hammock and coastal strand! Bring yourself, a friend, and some enthusiasm! We have all the equipment you'll need and there is no experience necessary.
Sign up to come along or email our coordinator with additional questions. A confirmation email containing all the event details will be sent to all registered participants on the day prior to the event.
PLEASE BRING WATER BOTTLE, SNACKS, SUNSCREEN, HAT, SUNGLASSES. WEAR CLOSE-TOED SHOES.

Mission Statement
A private non-profit organization, The Institute for Regional Conservation (IRC) is dedicated to the protection, restoration, and long-term management of biodiversity on a regional basis, and to the prevention of regional extinctions of rare plants, animals and ecosystems.
Description
Based in Florida, USA, IRC works on conservation research and action throughout South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond. Our work is premised on an innovative idea of conservation that seeks to protect and restore viable populations of all plant and animal species within a region, rather than simply focusing on charismatic animals or plants with narrow global ranges.
