We are looking for volunteers who can assist with trapping cats primarily in Suffolk County. Cats will be trapped either to be placed into foster care for adoption or they will be T-N-R'd (trap-neuter-return). Our rescue covers all veterinary costs. Trappers that have their own traps are a bonus, but we can loan traps if needed. Trappers who can house cats for recovery from TNR are also a bonus, but we can make other arrangements if that is not possible.
If you are interested in learning to trap to volunteer for our rescue we can also teach you how to trap.
Jen's Adoptable Cats is a 501c3 cat rescue who focuses on reducing the population of stray and feral cats on Long Island through TNR and finding homes for those cats that are adoptable. We are completely volunteer run.

Description
Jen's Adoptable Cats Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill rescue that is completely run by volunteers. We exclusively focus on the cat populations of Long Island, NY. We work to reduce the homeless cat population through trap-neuter-return and the fostering/socialization of adoptable cats and kittens for adoption.
All cats and kittens adopted from Jen's Adoptable Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption. We are a very small rescue looking to expand in order to help as many cats and kittens as possible. We were founded in 2019 and received 501c3 status in 2020. Every year we have been able to help and find homes for more cats than the last. We pride ourselves in giving all of our cats high quality medical care and food, as well as using a thorough application process to ensure our cats are placed in the best homes possible for each cat's individual needs.
