Cranberry Campground Host

The Gauley Ranger District of the Monongahela National Forest is looking for a host that is a motivated volunteer to serve as a campground host at Cranberry Campground. Cranberry Campground is adjacent to the Cranberry River which offers not only beautiful scenery but ample opportunity to fish for trout and wildlife to view. In close proximity are over 250 miles of trails to hike, 77 miles are within the Cranberry Wilderness. This facility provides 30 regular non-electric campsites. The campground can accommodate larger campers, popup campers and tents. Campground does offer a dump station. Located approximately 40 minutes from Richwood, WV and 30 minutes from Cowen, WV where groceries can be purchased.
