Medical Insurance Specialist
Certified coder preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to CPT, ICD-10 coding, reviewing EOBs, posting payments, electronically submitting claims, appealing claims, correcting claims, and /or working with the client to provide details regarding pre-existing information and/or coordination of benefits. Must have knowledge of most commercial insurances, Medicaid, and Medicare plans. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Must have outstanding customer service skills.

You will manage the billing processes for the organization. You will work with insurance and billing companies to process behavioral/ mental health reimbursements for clients. You will be responsible for producing medical billing, generating invoices, and receiving payments. You may also be responsible for translating medical code, analyzing service records, and performing basic data entry. Computer and organizational skills are crucial for fulfilling these responsibilities.

SHE Will Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that offers crisis intervention and counseling, addiction support, counseling, and advocacy to a community of women in the local area. Founded in 2017 by Dr. Sherita McQueen, our primary aim is to gain access to life-changing resources and support to move our community of women and families from crisis and inadequacy to stability and economic self-sufficiency. We support, help, and empower women affected by crisis situations to change their financial status, improve their health, well-being, living conditions, and become agents of change and role models in their homes and communities.
