About Rooted Interiors:

Rooted Interiors is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families transition from homeless shelters into permanent housing by providing interior design services that create warm, welcoming homes. We believe that a strong, faith-rooted foundation is essential for lasting stability and hope.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team on a volunteer basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms, helping to spread our mission and engage with our community. Your work will directly contribute to raising awareness about our cause, recruiting volunteers, and increasing donations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content (text, images, videos) that aligns with Rooted Interiors' mission and values.
• Social Media Management: Manage and update Rooted Interiors’ social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms to foster a positive and supportive online community.
• Campaign Development: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising initiatives.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize content and strategy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Rooted Interiors team to ensure cohesive messaging and support organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
• Passion for Rooted Interiors’ mission and a heart for service.
