Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County has been blessed with three washing machines and dryers to support our Just Between Mothers mentor program. We are looking for volunteers to hang out with the women when they come during designated hours to utilize the laundry facilities. We need someone to be there while the mom does her laundry. This might include playing with their children, conversing with the mom, helping fold the laundry, or participating in an activity such as cooking something or making a craft. For more details, or if you are interested in being included on our volunteer list, please let us know.
Depending on your schedule, this opportunity could be ongoing for a few hours a week or as needed.
