Do you enjoy brightening others' day? Caring individuals are needed for companionship with hospice patients. Volunteers will visit with hospice patients to provide extra support, reminiscing/ life review, reading, playing cards, playing a board game, planting plants, running errands, prayer, listening to music, taking a walk and more.

The time you share is very appreciated by our patients and caregivers and makes a HUGE impact on the patient's quality of life. If you have a special talent such as music or art to share, we welcome it! We also welcome Veterans to provide companionship to patients who Veterans and we welcome registered Pet Therapy teams.

Description

Compassus hospice volunteers touch the lives of our patients every day! Whether it is providing companionship to a patient or reading to them, volunteers brighten the lives of the patients and families we serve. Whether you choose to work behind the scenes and complete clerical work or working one to one with patient and families, volunteers are valued members of our team. Volunteers receive free training at our local office or virtually via Zoom.
