Quick Overview
K9 Youth Alliance is looking for talented, enthusiastic individuals to make a difference for underserved youth and shelter dogs by joining its Board of Directors!

Impact

Enrich the lives of youth from under resourced communities and shelter dogs by supporting our 3-week, intensive programs and helping us build our capacity to serve.

K9 Youth Alliance is a small nonprofit with a highly engaged, working board. Board members meet once monthly (via Zoom, with some in person meetings returning), participate in program once a year, participate in committees and fundraising events, and are vital to our success! Board members also commit to a personal financial contribution and a fundraising minimum.

Requirements

Responsible, enthusiastic individual who is a good communicator and a team player. We are especially interested in bringing on individuals with lived experience in the communities we serve. Experience with nonprofit governance, prior board membership, nonprofit fundraising and marketing a plus.
