About Lavender Lotis: Lavender Lotis is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing preventive healthcare services to the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ communities through innovative technology solutions. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Manager to lead our community programs at Lavender Lotis. The Program Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at promoting health equity, wellness, and empowerment within the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development and Implementation:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive program strategies, initiatives, and activities aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community partners, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups, to identify needs, prioritize issues, and address health disparities.
    • Design and oversee the implementation of evidence-based programs, workshops, events, and interventions to support the holistic well-being of community members.
  2. Community Engagement and Outreach:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, organizations, and leaders to foster trust, collaboration, and active participation in program initiatives.
    • Conduct outreach efforts, including community forums, focus groups, and surveys, to gather feedback, assess needs, and inform program planning and development.
    • Serve as a visible and accessible resource for community members, providing support, information, and referrals to healthcare services and resources as needed.
  3. Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement:

    • Establish program goals, objectives, and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and measure impact on health outcomes and community engagement.
    • Implement rigorous evaluation methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative data analysis, to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality improvement.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders, funders, and leadership team members to communicate program achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  4. Collaboration and Partnership Development:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including research, communications, and development, to integrate program activities and initiatives across organizational departments.
    • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, nonprofits, foundations, and healthcare providers, to leverage resources, share best practices, and maximize program impact.
    • Participate in coalitions, task forces, and committees focused on health equity, social justice, and BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ rights to advocate for policy change and systemic improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, community organizing, or nonprofit leadership, with a focus on health equity, BIPOC LGBTQIA+ issues, and social justice.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public health principles, population health, and health promotion strategies, with a commitment to addressing health disparities and systemic barriers impacting marginalized communities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to build rapport, engage diverse stakeholders, and mobilize community members toward shared goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.
