Enhabit is looking for caring, compassionate, dependable and dedicated volunteers that desire to share their sweet dogs with hospice patients. Many of our patients are dog lovers but can no longer have one if their own. Bring peace and joy by sharing yours.
No therapy dog certification necessary. Obedience training 101 certificate and veterinarian health check is all that is required.
I would love to share more about the program with you. Jennifer Maynard * 208.220.2669 * Jennifer.Maynard@ehab.com

Mission Statement
At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.
Description
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Pocatello delivers compassionate care that helps hospice patients feel dignified and supported at the end of life. We work closely with the patient's entire care team to maximize their quality of life, keep them comfortable at home and offer guidance to them and their loved ones when facing a terminal illness.
Volunteers are an essential element to our care teams. Volunteers provide companionship, lend family support through respite care, and a myriad of other ways that the other disciplines cannot.
Our hospice volunteer team is responsible for serving thousands of patients, their families and our community. Volunteers assist in our children's bereavement camps and adult education groups that are offered free to the community. We plan to serve for years to come and will needs great staff and volunteers in order to continue our success.
