Individuals with intellectual disabilities across northeast Montana are looking for inclusive sports opportunities but they need volunteers to help! Special Olympics Programs are looking for Team Coordinators to help start community sports teams & tournaments.
The Team Coordinator schedules and leads practices while serving as the primary liaison between SOMT’s Sports Department and the team. For travel and tournaments the team coordinator serves as the "athletic director" in the area, also recruiting Unified Partners for more inclusive play.
Experience with sports and admin organization is helpful but not required.
New coordinator orientation and ongoing training is provided by Special Olympics Montana staff.
This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Allowable -expense reimbursements are available.
