The Environmental Stewardship Pro Bono Coach at CrowdDoing Pro Bono Coaching Collective is focused on guiding and supporting clients who are passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability. This role involves empowering individuals and groups to lead and participate in impactful environmental initiatives, fostering a deeper connection with and commitment to the natural world. This is an unpaid, virtual volunteer role.
Role Description
The Environmental Stewardship Pro Bono Coach will optimize pro bono sustainability and environmental projects on behalf of clients and partners, working toward systemic change through collective action. The Coach will develop relationships with related external organizations, provide guidance, and identify best practices for addressing the critical challenges the environmental field faces.
Responsibilities:
- Educate clients about key environmental issues and sustainable practices.
- Assist clients in identifying and developing their environmental goals and projects, whether at a local, national, or global level.
- Guide clients in creating and implementing actionable plans for environmental stewardship and conservation.
- Provide tools and resources for effective environmental advocacy and activism.
- Help clients navigate challenges and obstacles they may encounter in their environmental initiatives.
- Encourage and support clients in building community partnerships and networks for broader environmental impact.
- Foster a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of ecological systems and human activities.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, research, and best practices in environmental stewardship and sustainability.
- Offer a supportive and confidential coaching environment for clients to explore and develop their environmental interests and strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience in the field of environmental sustainability, including circular economy models, waste reduction, carbon footprint evaluation, and environmental action plan development.
- Experience in project management, consulting, stakeholder management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of individuals and organizations, including the ability to collaborate with professionals and volunteers throughout the world.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of the principles and benefits of environmental stewardship and how collective action can drive systemic change.
- A passion for social innovation and the desire to contribute to positive global change.
Time Commitment:
Flexible, based on client needs and coach availability.
Location:
Remote / Virtual.
