Academy for Precision Learning (APL) is seeking candidates (4) for our Board of Directors and we would enjoy hearing from you. We are seeking community members who are passionate about APL’s mission; "APL's mission is to provide an innovative and transformational K-12 learning community that empowers neurodivergent students."
Founded in 2007, Academy for Precision Learning (APL) is a private independent K-12 school serving neurodiverse students in a safe and dynamic school environment. All children are welcomed as equal participants in the classroom and encouraged as members of their peer group. Teachers engage students in lessons that are either created from scratch or adapted from a curriculum to be both accessible and meaningful. And classroom environments are accessible calling on best practices from special education, behavior therapy, and more. In this way, students with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other learning differences can participate together in their classroom.
