About the Position

Her Nexx Chapter is looking for a Fund Development Manager to raise grant and sponsorship capital to support HNC’s general operations and programs. Duties for this position include managing relationships of new and existing funding partners, crafting application language, writing reports to funders, and assembling due diligence documents.

This is a great opportunity for someone with grant writing and development experience who wants to take on a leadership role in a fundraising team.

The Fund Development Manager will assist the Director of Philanthropy in successfully implementing strategies to raise general operating support and programmatic capital. They may focus on fundraising for a specific program: mental wellness program, uterine fibroids program, financial wellness program, or general operating support.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for raising funds to further HNC’s mission
  • Possess knowledge of non-profit fundraising strategies and techniques
  • Be highly organized, collaborative, and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be well-versed in G Workspace and have a working knowledge of project management software (Monday.com is a plus)
  • Research and grant writing experience

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and writing grant applications and other fundraising narrative/materials
  • Maintaining and developing new relationships with funding partners
  • Managing and recruiting volunteers
  • Partaking in fundraising strategic and relationship management meetings
  • Track prospects and giving partners through Monday.com
