The Legal Self-Help Center of Wayne is dedicated to helping current and past Wayne County residents by providing accessible resources and guidance to solve basic legal problems without an attorney. The SHC is open 9 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday (closed between 12 & 1)
Our team of trained court staff and volunteers is here to help you navigate the legal landscape confidently and independently. Equity in justice is our foundational belief. We uphold the principle that regardless of financial constraints or the ability to engage legal counsel, everyone deserves access to the means to address legal issues.

Although we do not give legal advice or provide representation, we provide meaningful, effective legal assistance at the SHC. Our commitment lies in ensuring that the legal system remains an inclusive and accessible avenue for all individuals.
