Join Empowered Futures as a International Affairs Specialist and be part of our futuristic and innovative Non-Profit organization dedicated to tackling the increasing rate of depression in youth (ages 18 to 28). Through self-empowerment, business mentorship, and support, we strive to build confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults. At Empowered Futures, we believe in the principles of integrity, goal setting, and responsibility, using them to inspire hope. Despite the complexities associated with this issue, we firmly believe that collective efforts can prevent suicide by instilling healing, raising awareness, and promoting mental health and well-being.


This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.



Responsibilities:


  • Conduct in-depth research on international affairs topics.
  • Analyze complex information, synthesize key findings, and provide concise reports or briefings to inform decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to the development of policy proposals and advocacy strategies.
  • Support the organization's efforts to enhance cross-cultural understanding, including organizing events, workshops, or seminars on international affairs topics.

Qualifications:


  • Reside in Canada
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Deep understanding of global issues, international relations, and international development.
  • Proficient in conducting research, analyzing complex information, and developing well-reasoned recommendations.
