Interns will gain hands-on experience while raising awareness of the situation in the West Bank and giving voice to local communities. This program provides a platform for interns to be at the forefront of relationship-building between international visitors and Palestinians, contributing meaningfully to the community.
Flexible Internship Duration & Timing
Engage in Palestine offers this flexible program year-round (Summer, Winter, Fall, and Spring) for periods of between 1 and 13 weeks. Interns can choose their start and end dates, making it easier to plan their involvement around other commitments. This flexibility ensures that the program is accessible to a wide range of individuals, including students, professionals, and retirees, regardless of their schedules.
Educational Opportunities and Immersive Experience
To ensure that interns fully understand the complexities of human rights issues in Palestine, Engage in Palestine organizes visits to human rights organizations, Palestinian community centers, local activists, Palestinian refugee camps, and Palestinian families. These visits offer firsthand exposure to the challenges faced by Palestinians and provide a deeper understanding of the political, social, and humanitarian landscape in the region.
