Girls on the Run coaches are trained volunteers who lead a team of participants through a season of powerful and fun lessons. You do not need to be a runner; you simply need to have a desire to support and encourage the next generation. Coaches receive all the tools and support they need and find that they get as much out of coaching as they give.
The committment is from March 18th to June 1st, two times per week for 1.5 hrs each. Coaches needed in many locations in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, and Livingston counties so you can find a location near you. Each team needs 2 coaches, so bring a friend. New coach training is March 8th 6-8pm or March 9th from 9a-11a which is mandatory.
Please visit our website www.gotrrochester.org to see the locations in need of coaches and for more information and to sign up. Please email Jeni, our program coordinator, with any questions: jennifer.bohrer@girlsontherun.org
