Volunteer Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team as a volunteer. The ideal
candidate will have experience using and creating design systems and intermediate to
advanced knowledge in design systems and Figma. The role will involve updating the style
guide to a more comprehensive one that designers will use but also marketing and
communications. The most important undertaking of this role will be to help create a new
design system based on Material Design. The product designer will also look to develop
design standards and best practices to promote the design at Greenstand to be of a high
standard.

Responsibilities:

● Help create a new design system basing it on Material Design.
● Create design standards and best practices to promote the design at Greenstand to
be of a high standard.

Qualifications:
● 3+ years of experience in product design
● Experience in using and creating design systems
● Intermediate to advanced knowledge in design systems and Figma
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Millions find their next meal by cutting down the forests, a priceless resource that cools the earth and creates oxygen. GreenStand is working on an app-based tree tracking project, that we believe can reverse the cycle. We have built a functioning prototype and planted thousands of trees to test our system. Now we want to take it to the next level and share it with tree planting organizations around the world.

We need someone to help us level up our current designs for UX/UI on our webmap and wallets, initially on a limited project but some scope for ongoing work for the right volunteer.

You must be self-driven, and be able to function in a remote work environment.
