Do you have some free time? Do you like to drive? Do you enjoy bringing joy to others? AccentCare hospice is looking for a volunteer who is willing to help celebrate birthdays of our hospice patients. Each week you will get a list of patients who have birthdays, call them or their family to see if they would like to receive a "Birthday Box" to celebrate their birthday. If they say yes, you would pick a day/time to drive to the location of the patient and drop off the special box to honor them.
We recognize that for many hospice patients and families this is the last birthday that they will have together. At AccentCare we want to make that birthday just a little bit more special. We will provide you with birthday cards and a little special something for each patient who says "yes" to a birthday box.
