Mission: To provide a powerful voice and a meaningful connection for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
Volunteer Role: A CASA volunteer works one on one with our youths to get to know them, be a stable supportive role model, and to stand up for them in court.
Training: You will begin by attending orientation that is held both in-person and virtually. Then. you will receive a 32-hour in-depth initial training and 12 hours of annual continuing education.
Availability: 8-10 hours a month with a commitment of at least 2 years.
Additional Requirements:
Hold a California driver's license and have a 3 year safe driving history
Able to pass criminal and CPS history background checks
