Our horse program provides opportunities for campers, guests, and community members of all ages to try something new, gain greater confidence, and find comfort and connection as they spend time with our herd!

Horse Helpers assist with a variety of tasks including:

  • Feeding
  • Grooming
  • Cleaning the Tack Area and Stalls
  • Assisting with Horse Programming

Description

We have had the privilege of serving campers, students, families, and guests at Camp Henry in Newaygo, Michigan since 1937. We believe that a camping experience at Camp Henry has the capacity to transform lives in many ways.

Our expectation is that everyone who comes to Camp Henry - whether a summer camper in July or a student coming in the Fall with their school group - will have the opportunity to have a life changing experience in a loving, caring, authentic, Christian environment. Our staff members are truly awesome - energetic, encouraging, compassionate, fun-loving, dedicated, hard-working, and full of joy - and can hardly wait to welcome you to Camp Henry - please join us!

We offer summer camp programs for kids ages 5-17, such as Day Camp, Mini Camp, Overnight Camps, and Teen Adventure Trips.

We are happy to serve guest groups in fall, spring, and winter, such as school groups, sports teams, scout groups, and more.
