Inventurous is an innovative non-profit organization with a mission to identify local plastic waste streams and transform them into valuable resources through creative upcycling initiatives. Our primary objective is to divert 10% of post-consumer plastic from the waste stream, sustaining a circular economy model.
We are looking for a volunteer to take our newsletter content and convert the provided images and text. into 4 stories a month for Instagram and Facebook. Also to post tips on recycling and reducing plastic waste.
If you would like to help exact change in our world, please respond if you can afford a time commitment of 4hrs a week.
This would suit someone who is perhaps semi retired. We respond to volunteers who write a little bit in the
comment section.

Provide a local solution to creatively upcycle plastic
Inventurous identifies plastic waste streams in local communities that can be utilized as a resource to upcycle into high value products. We take this plastic and with community involvement sort it, shred it, then place it in our 3D printers to create objects such as furniture, sculpture and other objects that our community needs, such as shade structures and school projects.
