Join Sno-King Watershed Council, in partnership with the City of Kenmore, for habitat restoration at Wallace Swamp Creek Park on Saturday, November 9 from 11 am - 2 pm!

WHERE TO FIND US
Meet in the parking lot. We will be working across the field.
Families and all ages welcome. Volunteers under 18, please contact us for a parental consent form if you have not been before and won't have a grown up in tow. Come when you can and stay as long you are able.
WHAT TO BRING
* Come dressed in clothes and footwear for the weather, including possible rain and cold or heat and sun, and for getting dirty.
* Wear footgear that will keep your feet dry and that you don’t mind getting muddy.
* Wool (or thick) socks may help keep your toes warm when it is cold.
* Thick pants (denim or similar) in all weather will protect your legs from blackberry thorns.
* Sunscreen, hats, and layers are good!

* Work gloves if you have them
* Your favorite tool (shovel/clippers) IF you would like to use it

Please note
There is no bathroom on site. There is a public restroom at Safeway, 6850 NE Bothell Way, Kenmore, WA 98028, a 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk.

Description
Sno-King Watershed Council is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our members believe that our streams and waters should be places where our children can play without worrying about pollution, contamination or getting sick. We want to see salmon return again and have healthy habitat for wildlife. Green spaces and clean streams add to our quality of life. We support projects that help us take care of these places together.
