KiTNETiC will be hosting their first STEM Kit Packing Session of the 2024 year. Various interactive STEM kits will be packed at this event such as the Elephant Toothpaste experiment. These activities will be sent to local elementary schools and STEM nonprofits.
Details:
Time: January 6th from 1:45 - 3:15 PM CST
Location: Parr Library
Hours: 1.5 will be signed off.
If you plan on volunteering, please bring any service hours sheet for us to sign off. ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER HERE TO RESERVE A SPOT: https://forms.gle/Y5aDH5u6WKuvLfGBA
We will cap the volunteer registration at 30.

Mission Statement
We have partnered with a local Plano, Texas robotics team, SHARK! to make STEM accessible to all. Our goal is to drive innovative thinking and encourage the youth to participate in STEM through workshops, camps, and volunteering sessions.
Description
To deliver our mission, we've partnered with the robotics team, SHARK!.
SHARK! has pursued numerous outreach initiatives that enable us to achieve our mission. These efforts include but are not limited to the following:
1) Interactive STEM workshops. Recently, one was held on 11/5 with 30-40 attendees.
2) Virtual seminars. In total, over 3 hours of guest speaking have occurred with over 20+ attendees.
3) Hackathons. Recently, one was held on 10/23-10/30.
Each of our outreach initiatives requires generous donations and volunteers. Without the fiscal and community support, our efforts would not be as successful.
