Snowy Plover- N Weeden

Join Golden Gate Bird Alliance (formerly Golden Gate Audubon) and the National Park Service to maintain the snowy plover's home.

When: Second Monday of each month, 9:45 a.m. to noon

Where: Crissy Field at the Wildlife Protection Area - meet at the picnic table nearest the Warming Hut.

What: Beach Cleanup, we will supply the tools, please bring a water bottle, dress in layers, and wear closed-toe shoes. Limited to 8 volunteers.

Founded in 1917, Golden Gate Bird Alliance is one of the oldest wildlife conservation organizations on the West Coast. We have a long history of inspiring and connecting people in the Bay Area with local birds, wildlife and their habitats and today play a critical role in Bay Area wildlife conservation. Golden Gate Bird Alliance has roughly 7,000 members and supporters in San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
