Group Mentor
ORGANIZATION: WE BELONG PDX
Please visit the new page to apply.
Group Mentors are integral to changing the mental health narrative for the children we serve. The role of a Group Mentor is to show up on program days and form relationships with the children as they participate in the activities planned by the Program Coordinator. We take Group Mentors through an on-boarding and training process to ensure they are well equipped to engage. This opportunity is always in a group setting with a consistent group of children and under the leadership of a Program Coordinator. We're creating communities where children are seen, heard and most importantly, know they belong in.

The founder is a former teacher who was heartbroken by the depression and anxiety she saw children experiencing during the pandemic and decided to prioritize mental health.
