Make a BIG impact in little time! Our Big Brothers Community Program pairs you with a Little Brother based on personality and personal interests to build a supportive one-to- one relationship based on trust, connection, and fun!
Our matches spend two or more hours once per week doing free or low- cost activities they enjoy most. Our matches are paired for a minimum of one year.
Our Big Brothers are
- Male, trans, and gender diverse individuals who are 18+.
- Reliable, consistent, able to express care and expand possibilities.
Our Little Brothers are
- Boys, trans, and gender-diverse children and youth ages 7 to 14.
- Those who would benefit from having a positive role model in their life.
NOW IS THE TIME TO VOLUNTEER! SOME OF OUR LITTLES HAVE BEEN WAITING MORE THAN 2 YEARS FOR THEIR BIG BROTHER.
Locations:
Surrey, White Rock, Delta, Richmond, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby and Vancouver.
Benefits:
Have fun, de-stress, and feel like a kid again! We organize fun activities year-round like water-skiing, sailing, and wall-climbing. Whenever possible, our organization provides activity ideas and free tickets and admission vouchers to Big and Little Brothers. As a volunteer, you can make a positive impact on the community, gain a sense of personal reward and fulfillment by contributing to a child's self-esteem, develop a more positive attitude, which leads to greater productivity at work and makes a new friend.
