God’s Roamin’ Kitchen is a mobile food truck that operates as an extension of Catholic Charities West Michigan’s God’s Kitchen Food and Pantry Programs. God’s Roamin’ Kitchen provides free meals outside of the downtown, Grand Rapids area, for individuals and families who may not have access to transportation or the financial means to purchase food. For many, the hot meal provided at our satellite food distribution sites may be the only hot meal they are able to access that day, possibly even the only hot meal they'll receive that week. The mobile food truck provides a hot, delicious to-go meal, allowing for ease of access to healthy food. CCWM has partnered with UCOM services in Wyoming, MI and will be distributing meals on Tuesdays from 11:30AM to 12:30PM through May of 2024.

Role description: Tuesdays, 10:45AM to 1:00PM. This volunteer role would require the participant to lift 20lbs while assisting with van loading and unloading. This is a standing role and is outdoors with occasional exception. This role does require background processing and signup permissions. Please email Dbryan@ccwestmi.org with all questions.
