Boxing (Fitness) Class will be held in the Activities Room from 1:00-2:00pm every Friday, starting January 5. This is a sign-up only class for residents. You will be assisting and helping the instructor. You are NOT the instructor.
Volunteers must be Registered.
Registered Volunteers will complete the following:
- Complete a self-study orientation and quiz
- Attend an interview/tour
- Complete a background check: Social Security number required.
- Submit TB skin test clearance (2 step) or blood test
- Submit a COVID-19 Vaccination record
- Submit Seasonal Flu Vaccination record for adults (September-March only)

Four areas of living comprise our campus; The Meadows - independent living The Manor - assisted living and some independent The Pavilion-traditional long term care including Eva's House our memory care unit The Care and Rehabilitation Center - short term care for seniors recovering from injury or illness
Description
The job description of a Glacier Hills volunteer is to share joy. Volunteers from the local community accomplish this in a variety of ways. Volunteers help residents engage in daily Life Enrichment activities, including exercises, art, small groups and activity carts. Some volunteers share their musical talents. Volunteer participation in larger events such as concerts, parties, and holiday decorating also enriches the lives of residents.
Some volunteers spend time one-on-one with a resident. They might read a book, write letters, visit the Glacier Hills library together or stroll in the garden. In addition, those interested in serving in a spiritual capacity can find many opportunities on our campus through coordinating with our Chaplain.
