The Duck Sanctuary has several donation transport opportunities:
1) They receive regular donations of bedding and linens from the Mission Viejo Animal Care Center, but need help once a week to pick up the items and bring them to the Sanctuary in Winchester. Pickup truck or van helpful but not necessary.
2) The sanctuary also frequently needs assistance with transporting bales of straw from local vendors. Again, Pickup truck or van helpful but not necessary - keep in mind that straw makes a mess!
3) A food producer in Bakersfield COULD donate produce as often as every week, but currently it only happens when an employee can drive the goods down, which is about every 3 months. If you are interested in doing this even once a month, the food would be SO welcome by the birds! In this case, you would most likely need a pickup truck or van.
