Restore the natural area of Catherine Ursich Park through invasive species removal and mulching! We will be removing ivy and spreading mulch over the area to support the native plants and animals.
What to Bring: Gloves if you have them, a water bottle, and a snack.
What to Wear: Sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots. Long pants and long sleeves. Dress for the weather.
Work Party will take place Rain or Shine!
Tools and training will be provided. Restrooms are unavailable in park.

- Two AZA-accredited zoos
- An old-growth forest inside 760-acre Point Defiance Park
- Sports complexes, pools and spraygrounds
- Community centers
- A marina on Puget Sound
- An accredited living history museum
- 87 miles of trails

- A Victorian-style conservatory inside an arboretum
- and hundreds of program offerings in sports, arts, and more.
