ORGANIZATION: FRIENDS OF THE MILWAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY INC

If you're passionate about libraries and seeking a new opportunity, Milwaukee Public Library is in search of volunteers for its used bookstore, the Bookseller. Your involvement will help provide affordable books, music, comics, and literacy-related items to the community. Volunteers will assist with sales, accept book donations, sort donated books, and handle merchandising. A commitment of at least 2 shifts per month is expected. Join us in our mission to make diverse literary resources accessible to all.

The Bookseller

Giving used books new life is what the Bookseller does best! Hosted by the Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library in the Central Library, the Bookseller’s selection of affordable used books is massive, including thousands of novels, bestsellers, biographies, audiobooks, memoirs, self-help, history, true crime, mysteries, cookbooks, comic books, Teen lit, children's books, textbooks, and many hard-to-find and out-of-print titles. Enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee or a tasty baked treat from the R CafĂ© while you shop and save to support the library!
