Looking for a volunteer opportunity that is fun and rewarding? Join our Volunteer team! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping older adults who are homebound maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.

Site Coordinator: Help make a difference for seniors in your community by coordinating our Renton Meals on Wheels site! In this position, your main responsibilities are to coordinate our dedicated volunteers for the delivery of meals as well as completing various office tasks that keep Meals on Wheels humming along on schedule. In a pinch, the Coordinator can fill in for any member of the Meals on Wheels team, including delivering meals to clients.

This volunteer role involves a weekly commitment of 4 to 5 hours, with the ability to be on-site on Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Training for this position is provided. We are looking for volunteers who have long term availability.

Established in 1967, we support almost 54,000 older adults, disabled persons, and those who care for them annually in King County.

Our eleven programs operating throughout numerous community and senior center sites are constantly striving to expand the provision of food security, transportation, health & wellness, and assistance services to under served and marginalized populations. We are committed to helping all people, especially those in low-income communities and communities of color, obtain the services they need while feeling included and respected in a community that affirms aging.
