ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities Community Services AZ

Catholic Charities in partnership with St. Mary's Food Bank is in need of multiple volunteers to assist with their mass food distributions at 2 of their affordable housing communities. The goal is to have numerous additional volunteers to assist with heat relief during the summer months. Volunteers will assist our Resident Services Program with their community wide food distributions that are partnered with St. Mary’s Food bank. Some tasks may include help with set up, tear down, handing food out to community members, and potential lifting based on volunteer’s ability.

**Please Note: Date/Time does not reflect actual volunteer hours. Volunteer schedules will be determined with supervisor following the onboarding process. Time Commitment: TWO different opportunities of 6-8 hours per month. Mobile Food Pantry at Rosewood Court Apartments: 2nd and 4th Thursdays 9am-12:00pm. Mobile Food Pantry at Ironwood Village Apartments: 2nd and 4th Fridays of the Month 8am-11am.

Our office serves to connect volunteers with different opportunities across the valley. These opportunities serve our many different sites which work with different vulnerable populations including refugees, pregnant teens, and children in foster care.
