Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support basketball-focused and technology-access programs for youth. Our upcoming basketball-focused technology access program is set to launch in Las Vegas, NV, in January 2024 and will be considered a significant milestone in our journey.
Job Summary
As the Merchandising Manager at Dunk4Dreams, you will lead the merchandising strategy for our basketball merchandise line. Your role encompasses product assortment planning, pricing strategies, and driving sales through effective merchandising. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products are positioned and promoted effectively to maximize sales and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies for basketball merchandise.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotion plans.
- Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to guide product selection.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align merchandising with broader goals.
- Oversee visual merchandising and in-store displays for retail partners.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure merchandising aligns with brand values and mission.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of merchandising principles and retail dynamics.
- Knowledge of market analysis and consumer behavior.
- Experience in product assortment planning and pricing strategy.
- Proficiency in retail management software and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the sports or fashion merchandise sector.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful merchandising strategies.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
