Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist - Basketball Merchandise - Volunteer
About Dunk4Dreams
Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support basketball-focused and technology-access programs for youth. Our upcoming basketball-focused technology access program is set to launch in Las Vegas, NV, in January 2024 and will be considered a significant milestone in our journey.
Job Summary
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Dunk4Dreams, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our basketball merchandise. Your role involves conducting product inspections, implementing quality control processes, and working with teams to address quality issues. Your commitment to excellence will be key in maintaining the integrity and reputation of our product line.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of basketball merchandise at various stages of production.
- Develop and implement quality control processes and standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Analyze quality data and report on findings to management.
- Provide training and support on quality assurance practices.
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
- Manage and maintain quality assurance documentation and records.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in quality inspection tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
- Knowledge of textile and product testing methods.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the fashion or sports merchandise industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
