Connected To Culture, Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Lead Product Manager to lead the development of our groundbreaking mobile travel planning app for iOS and Android. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing the project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, and contributing to the timely delivery of a high-quality, user-centric mobile application. This is a volunteer position.
Responsibilities:
- **Project Leadership:** Take charge of the mobile travel planning app development, guiding the project team through planning, execution, and delivery phases.
- **Team Collaboration:** Foster collaboration among developers, designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
- **Timeline Management:** Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and goals.
- **Risk Mitigation:** Proactively identify and address potential project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- **Resource Allocation:** Efficiently allocate resources, track project budgets, and optimize team productivity.
- **Quality Assurance:** Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to deliver a polished, user-friendly app.
- **Client/Stakeholder Engagement:** Act as a liaison between development teams and clients/stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing feedback.
Requirements:
- **Proven Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of project management experience, preferably in mobile app development.
- **Leadership Skills:** Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Organizational Skills:** Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex projects.
- **Problem-Solving:** Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- **Tech-Savvy:** Familiarity with mobile app development processes and technologies is a plus.
- **Adaptability:** Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry trends.

With advancements in DNA research, people all over the world are able to accurately find out if they have African ancestry. This is life changing for some many people who’s history was practically erased as a result of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade.
