About Dunk4Dreams
Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support basketball-focused and technology-access programs for youth. Our upcoming basketball-focused technology access program is set to launch in Las Vegas, NV, in January 2024 and will be considered a significant milestone in our journey.
Job Summary
As a Fashion Print Designer at Dunk4Dreams, you will specialize in creating visually compelling print designs for our basketball merchandise. Your role involves conceptualizing and designing unique prints that appeal to our youth audience while aligning with the organization's mission. Your innovative approach to print design will play a key role in differentiating our merchandise in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop original print designs for a variety of basketball merchandise.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and alignment with overall product aesthetics.
- Research current trends in fashion print design and adapt them to fit our brand's identity.
- Work with production teams to ensure accurate translation of designs from concept to final product.
- Provide input on material and color selection for print designs.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of print design techniques and trends.
- Knowledge of color theory and application in print design.
- Experience with digital printing processes and limitations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in fashion print design, preferably in sportswear.
- Portfolio showcasing creative print designs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
