The Mission of the United Food Bank and Services of Plant City is to provide assistance for the needy in moving them from a "state of hunger" and "impoverishment" to self-sufficiency, empowerment and self-reliance.
Our Vision is to stamp-out hunger in East Hillsborough County and raise the standard of living for the truly needy. Offering opportunities for self-improvement, education, job skills and enhancing life for individuals and families; thus, affecting change for the community.
We are looking for committed volunteers to join our family of volunteers! Right now, we are in need of box truck drivers to help us on our routes and pick up donated product daily. *Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and drive a box truck and operate a electric and manual pallet jack*
Our facility houses food donations donated by various businesses, personal donations, and community food drives. Volunteer activities may include sorting and organizing produce, bakery and nonperishable food donations, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, stocking food pantry shelves, distributing food boxes to our clients or preparing grocery bags for families in need.

Mission is to assist in feeding the truly hungry in the East Hillsborough County, FL area.
The United Food Bank of Plant City is an approved United Way agency operating as an "emergency food bank" providing a hand-up, not a hand out. We are an emergency food bank with referral coming from the State of Florida, local schools and designiated local churches. We are open 5 days a week serving the needy and truly hungry.
