Are you interested in what happens behind the scenes at the Habitat Portland Region's online store? This volunteer position supports the e-commerce team with inventory and warehouse support.
DUTIES:
- Assist in researching product values and MSRPs.
- List & photograph items for our online store.
- Assist with processing donated products, monthly inventory counts, and order fulfillment.
- Help with general organization and cleaning of the warehouse space.
- Might require moving and lifting heavy pieces.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete online volunteer application and background check.
- Attend a new volunteer training shift.
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This volunteer role operates in an open warehouse environment. This role is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The volunteer will frequently lift, move and/or load large furniture items.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS:All shifts are flexible between the times of 10am to 2pm Monday-Friday and will take place at 12413 NE Marx Street, Portland OR

Description
Habitat for Humanity Portland Region serves Multnomah County, east Washington County, and northern Clackamas County and has the ability to reach out to families one step away from homelessness. Habitat sells homes to hardworking people in need of decent, affordable housing. We are an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-denominational Christian housing ministry and global home-building movement. We welcome people from all walks of life to partner with our program to serve families in need with generosity, humility, and love.
